Another Twilight Zone fan art. Can't get enough of this show.
Oh my goodness what is this from you ask? Well, this is an ORIGINAL! I took the creative environment design course at SVS Learn and here is what I made while I watched it. I highly recommend this course, and I'm really starting to enjoy environment design. I really like this drawing, and I plan on making more original ideas a part of the Computer Paper Project.
A friend of mine asked me to draw whatever my favorite part of Lord of the Rings is, and while it is hard to choose one I do love the Balrog. What an awesome character design. I mean seriously, this is like the lava monster of all lava monsters. I could go on and on about what a genius Tolkein is, but I'm sure you already know that. Love this little drawing, and it is now going to be a birthday present!
The 16 Millimeter Shrine. I love how this picture turned out, it really captured the character and the textures are great.
Since the inception of this blog in August I have had so many life changes take place. I started my new job as a high school art teacher (which is awesome), moved into my first apartment (not totally set up yet), and this past weekend on November the 7th I got married (which is also awesome). I am finally starting to settle into all of these new life changes, and I am very excited for what the future holds. Over the course of Inktober I was able to complete ALL of the drawings, and I had an absolute blast doing it. I did not totally meet my pledge of also finishing my 15 page short comic story, so that will be one of my next goals. Pages are in the process of currently being inked, so an larger update for that should happen soon.
After the completion of that story I hope to work on a more long form creator owned graphic novel. I have been writing, re-writing, re-re-writing, adding, subtracting, developing, doodling, thumb-nailing, roughing, designing, and just flat out working on a story of mine. I think that it might finally be time to put some more energy into, and I am anxious to see where it goes. I want to push myself as both an artist and a storyteller. The Computer Paper Project will continue! Over the next few days I plan on developing the new upload schedule, and getting back to posting (I have multiple pictures ready to go). All in all, comics and illustration is amazing, and I can't wait to buckle down on it, and get to work. Labor of love people, labor of love! |
