The cover to my first comic book! I could not think of a better way to celebrate the 100th drawing in the Computer Paper Project! The great news is this book is 100% done. I have drawn, inked, colored, and lettered the entire book, and it is ready to be shown. This is my first attempt at all of this in a single issue format, but I am very excited to share it with everyone.
At this point and time, I am still deciding how to release this story. Should I release a page a day for the next month? Should I post the story in 5 page blasts? Or, just post the entire thing at once? Decisions, decisions. I will make a decision on this format sometime soon, for now enjoy this cover and have a great day! I am actually on vacation at the moment, so this little picture will have to do. Could probably use more shadows on this now that I look at.
Throw back Thursday drawing. With some minor adjustments I think I would like this picture a lot more.
This week features another short article, but this one provides some insight into my new comic! I am so excited to announce The Mountain and The Well, and I hope you enjoy this little behind the scenes look as I wrap this project up. Unfortunately, I will not have an article released on Sunday the 19th, but by that time you will hopefully have comic pages to read! Articles will resume on the 26th with a reflective piece. Daily sketch uploads will continue to follow the schedule as planned. I know that this article is short, but it is all for the sake of the comic. If you have any ideas for future long form pieces, be sure to let me know if the comments below. Thanks for all the support!
Ladies and Gentleman I think that we may be on the road to discovering a style! Slowly but sure, not trying to force it, just trying to sit down and draw. It's so cool to work from 0 reference and see what happens.
Throwback Thursday. I think I have another version of this picture somewhere too. I'll have to look around.
