I would love to work on a series of Seinfeld drawings, maybe I'll do some more sketches of this? Life is getting very busy but I will finish Inktober!
Not a bad drawing by any means, but I think the design and pose is too generic. The idea should have pushed more right from the start. Also, his hands are a little weird. I will keep learning and working through these design struggles, I can feel slow progress being made and that is always good.
I really like the concept in this picture, and I think the line work is great. Except, that tea pot is definitely below average. He deserves a better tea pot haha. Much thicker lines than I would normally use, but I think they are pretty successful.
This was just a quick drawing. I think that I captured the character decently well. The line work is too shaky for my taste though. It's all a learning process. I plan on taking the inking class from Jake Parker soon.
Okay... so... This is not on computer paper (shocking I know) but I do like to treat myself to nicer paper now and again. So today I made this! It is on 11x17 watercolor paper using watercolor paint, India Ink, small amounts of Prismacolor Marker, and Correction Pen. I am very pleased with the results, and I did this all in about 45 minutes! Voldemort is such an amazing character. For this particular picture I was thinking about book four where they kill Cedric and revive him. I had a lot of fun with this, and maybe I'll include some more sporadic watercolor updates, who knows? Regular update coming soon! Might have to do two tomorrow we will see!
I previewed this image a little early but it has finally made its' way up in the queue. I (like most) enjoy Labyrinth and could stand to watch that again soon. I'm working on drawing so much and I'm finding I truly do enjoy the slightly dark children's fantasy stories. Might do some more investigation and research in this genre.
Fun drawing for sure, I like the texture I was able to get. I really want to get the Disney art book from Snow White eventually. I've seen reviews of it and it looks amazing! What an absolute masterpiece. It changed the course on an entire industry forever, and the art is just jaw dropping.
Another day of Inktober, this is kind of how I felt today. I like the energy and mood of this picture even though it does need more of a background. Work is very busy recently, this past weekend I started my move, and I'm getting married the first week of November. Life is extremely busy, but I love drawing so much and Inktober has allowed me to keep (some haha) focus on that.
